There’s no place like Savannah — and no one brings the city to life like Savannah magazine. Since 1990, our mission has been to celebrate the new and enduring voices of our city’s culture, commerce, and creative community. With 11 issues a year under three different magazine titles (Savannah magazine, Savannah HOMES and Southern Coastal Weddings) you’ll find a wide variety of editorial content on local trends, shopping, dining, health, and the arts, as well as what’s new in our area, and an events calendar.
Savannah Magazine
Each bi-monthly issue is centered around a theme. This year you’ll find:
- January/February is our “Family & Fun” issue, giving you ideas on how to start the year off right.
- March/April is “Shop | Do | Dine,” which focuses on supporting local restaurants, shops, and activities.
- May/June is our “Leading Ladies” issue, highlighting Savannah’s many creative, talented, and entrepreneurial women.
- July/August celebrates and Coastal lifestyle and “Life on the Water,” such as boat excursions and local seafood.
- September/October is our “Best of Savannah” issue, celebrating 500+ winners in our annual reader-voted poll.
- November/December celebrates the holiday season with decor ideas, festive fashion, and holiday happenings.
Submit a Story Idea
If you’ve got a great idea for a story, pitch us by emailing [email protected] or click the button below. We encourage writers to submit queries and manuscripts for consideration, as well. If you are a writer, submissions should include samples of previously published work and a brief description of your story idea. Because we’re always on deadline, please do not call the editor to discuss.

We publish select event information in our bimonthly issues and weekly e-newsletters. Send your information to [email protected] or click the button below. Be sure to include a contact name and phone number in case we have questions. Deadlines for submitting information are approximately eight weeks prior to the issue’s publication date. Example: Details for a June event should be submitted in April.
Savannah HOMES
Savannah HOMES magazine takes you inside our area’s most interesting homes, from the grand and historic to the creative and mid-century. We cover design trends and impart tips from area experts, too.
We publish four seasonal Savannah HOMES issues each year. Here’s what you’ll find this year:
- Spring (March-June) features our annual Best of HOMES reader-voted poll of top home professionals in more than 70 categories.
- Summer (July-September) is all about making the most of outdoor living spaces.
- Fall (October-November) focuses on entertaining.
- Holiday/Winter (December-February) highlights extraordinary holiday decor and festive tips.Each of our dedicated Savannah HOMES publications features multiple home tours, as well as departments devoted to remodeling/renovations, interior design, decor trends, and so much more.
